Subject: USS Buckley Date: Tue, 24 Sep 2002 13:34:06 +0800 From: LIM_Kian_Seng@nyp.gov.sg To: Ship_Gallery@modelwarships.com Hi Timothy, This is the USS Buckley from Revell, which I built a long time ago. I created a CG background for this kit, which was built directly out of the box. Regards Lim Kian Seng PS. You can mention my email Buckley-class (USN DE-51) {H-355} [1/240] (WW2) GOOD. (based on in-box review) Hull is nice, decent level of detail. Comparable in many ways to Revell's Forrest Sherman kit. (DRW) Also sold as Taiwanese TAI CHAO, ex-USS CARTER (which was actually an EVARTS I think). Instead of molded in handrails, there are strips with stanchions intended for you to rig with thread! Deck edges slotted to take the strips. Basis for a good kit; 40mm twin aft instead of the more common 1.1 inch quad. (Brooks)
