1/350 Z-25 (Trumpeter)
This is my model of the Trumpeter Z 25kit. I've decided to build the ship in its 1945 configuration, so some modifications had to be done. The anchor-chains have been replaced, also all gun barrels. Most of the photo-etched parts are from the kit. The radar is from the Tom´s modelworks Set and the railings are from my spare box. The whole model went received several details made from styrene, wire and aluminium.
In 1945 the ship was equipped with 4 3,7cm C42/LM42 instead of 3,7cm C30. The C42 had to be scratchbuild, because they´re not included within the kit.
Also the radar equipment had to be modified. In 1945 it included 1 x FuMO 21, 1 x FuMO 63K Hohentwiel, 1 x FuMB Antenne 3 Bali, 1 x FuMB 6 Palau and 1 x FuMB Metox, from which none of them is included in the kit, so that they had to be scratchbuild or to be taken out of the Tom´s PE-Set. The EMC-Minen also had to be scratchbuild, because the ones included in the kit are to small.
The model was painted with Revell-Aquacolors and rigged with fishing-line and wire.
