1/700 HMS Electra 1941 (Tamiya )
HMS Electra as part of Force Z 1941 in WA white, Blue, green. My first model in 15 years, posted in completed models in 2015, finally has sea base. Tamiya plus Toms Modelworks PE, 3D modelparts oerlikon, eduard figures, and scratch 3inch HA. Cut down mast and aft funnel (should have cut funnel down more). Did have some paint issues but mostly rectified – lessons learned for next time. Polystyrene/acrylic medium/cotton base. Sneak preview in consort with destroyers from force Z – a full force Z is completed and will be posted soon.
