1/700 HMS Exeter D-89 (Pitroad/Skywave)
Here are photos of the HMS Exeter that I built for the Cold War Group Build. I used the WEM Type 42 PE detail set to enhance the kit, and it is well done and adds a lot to the finished product. I used Floquil paints and stretched sprue rigging along with the very nice Hawk/Resin Shipuard decals. This is the first post WW II ship that I've ever done. It was neat departure from my usual pre-dreadnought era through WW II builds, but I think I prefer them to the more modern ships. Another fun group build!
