This is the HMS Liverpool in her current (2008/2009) configuration. As the Pitroad kit itself only allows building the ship in its earlier configuration, a lot of scratch building had to be done. Some of the changes made to the kit included modifying the midship, adding the raised platform for the CIWS, moving all emergency life rafts to their correct positions, adding all antennas, changing the fore and aft masts to their new layout and a new crane also had to be built. All rigging is from stretched sprue.
PE and colors are from WEM. The water is modeled with acrylic paint and 3D model paste on a glass plate.
Many thanks to John Currie who provided me with first-hand expertise on the ship which helped very much.
