1/700 HMS Sheffield (Revell Germany)
This is my Revell 1/700 Sheffield that I finished two years ago. Although it seems to be a nicely detailed kit, a considerable amount of scratchbuilding was necessary to achieve a true-to-original look as most of the details were either overscale or incorrect for Sheffield. I used WEM photoetch, resin, decals and colourcoats, some usable parts from the Eduard fret plus GMM figures. With my WEM Brilliant in a well advanced state of construction there is not much in the way of finishing my Falklands dio at last.
