One of the USN 4-piper destroyers transferred to the RN as the "Town class", St. Albans (ex-USS Thomas, DD-182) was crewed by the Royal Norwegian Navy and is sometimes referred to with the prefix "HNoMS". It was later transferred to the Soviet navy. St. Albans is one of the kits in the excellent series of 1/400 4-pipers released by Mirage in 2007. It represents the ship in late 1942 heavily modified as a North Atlantic convoy escort. I built my model with the addition of generic PE and a few small scratchbuilt details, such as the D/F aerial forward of the bridge (the masts were also scratchbuilt from brass wire).
