1/700 IJN Matsu (Tamiya)
This is my Tamiya 1/700 destroyer Matsu. The only PE I have used are Aber ladders and railings, Eduard doors and 25 mm magazines. Almost every part in the model is rebuilt, many parts are scratchbuilt (for example: both masts, 13 Go radar, depth charge stands etc.)
As reference I have used BS’ “Destroyers of The World War Two – USS Gendreau, Matsu and HMS Brissenden” by Slawomir Brzezinski, Grzegorz Nowak and Piotr Wisniewski. The booklet contains very detailed plans of these three destroyers in 1/400 scale..
