1/72 INS Mumbai (Scratchbuilt)
I was fortunate to find myself on board the brand new Mumbai with a camera in 2001 in Sydney Australia, & was even more fortunate not to be apprehended, considering it was 3 days after 9-11.
Took over 100 photos, then started researching the ship & finally started the build in 2007. There is one more very important item to go on the model, a 17 piece Indian Marine Brass band playing on the flight deck next to the helo! They are currently in the paint shop- I may even hook up a sound system playing appropriate music.
