1/350 Italian DD's Aviere and Artigliere (Dragon)
Italian Navy destroyers Aviere (AV, from 1954 NATO code D 554; ex USS Nicholson DD 442, Gleaves/Livermore class) and Artigliere (AR, from 1954 NATO code D 553; ex USS Woodworth DD 460, Benson class), Arsenale di La Spezia, summer 1952.
Dragon model kits in 1/350 scale with superstructure decks heavily modified (white plasticard, see photos), updated with new AA positions for quad and twin 40mm Bofors (from L’Arsenal maquette) and photoetched detail parts (from Gold Medal Models).
