1/700 JMSDF Kongo 173 (Pitroad)
I admit that the main reason I chose to build Kongo was the awesome Flyhawk detail set I got some months ago. The set was made for Hasegawa kit but with some effort it can be easily applied to Pitroad as well. Toughest part was gluing the plates below the bridge and especially make all these small seams between PE parts to disappear without destroying the fantastic detail of rivets. Other than that it only took some time and patience to add all those tiny brass details.
