The Hatsuyuki class destroyer
My first time ever building a 1/700 scale modern warship and adding a water base made from acrylic caulk. This kit was a club raffle trade with Tony Abbott who won it and was gracious to swap his winnings with mine. I ordered the GMM PE set as soon as I got home. The detail of the kit was superb and mostly accurate based on photo’s I found on the internet. Bending the PE in this scale became a challenge, and I found the tools I had were not completely up to the task. Make a note to self, ‘self’ buy a good PE tool for the next build! Flags were not included with my kit but Jose Soca came to my rescue and sent me a set. I selected markings for DD124 JMSDF Mineyuki.
