1/700 Hr.Ms. Bulhond (Scratchbuilt)

Here's my scratchbuild Dutch torpedoboat-destroyer of the Fret (ferret) class in 1:700. Built in 1911, she and her sisterships were elegant pre-ww1 destroyers, armed with 4 13pdr guns, 2 18' torpedotubes and 4 machine guns.

The build is the usual sandwich of evergreen and putty, but this time covered with CA-glue-infused paper. This gives a smooth surface and allows for a very sharp bow. The superstructure is also made of CA-paper, allowing for an almost to-scale thinness of platforms. The stacks are rolled strips of paper as well. Weapons, fittings and PE come from varied sources.
