1/700 ORP Wicher, 1936 (Niko)
These are just a few photos of my model of ORP Wicher in 1936. This is the Polish destroyer which was the first ship to be sunk in the Second World War. My model is from the Niko kit and other than railings, minelaying rails, a few other bits and pieces of photoetch and crew from Gold Medal Models, it is built pretty much out of the box, which is unusual for me. Nothing fancy with this one, I was just going for a nice clean build, more details of which can be found in Escort, the latest edition of the newsletter of the IPMS Small Warships Special Interest Group.
