1/350 PLAN DDG-139 Ningbo (Trumpeter)
A nice model to build. Several of the parts of the structure come in one piece and are precise in the fit. The biggest difficulty is painting because the ship has very concentrated structures. The model comes with enough photo-etched parts to complete it, some of them have been replaced because they are too fragile and others have been added. Small improvements have been made such as antennas, cannons with metal and other small details. The paints used are Vallejo 907 (FS36473), 70868 (FS36118) Dark Sea Green and for the hull a mixture of Hull Red 70985 and dark vermilion 70947. Oils and pastel colors have been used for the finish. Wiring is veevus 0.10 and Uni Caneis.
The flags are made of aluminum foil.
