1/200 PLAN 136 Hangzhou (Trumpeter)
The model has been constructed and finished since the product launched to Hong Kong market in the year of 2002. The model was build under my RC installation plan. I decided to use the mini RC, propulsion system because of the weight and space consideration. I select the Futaba 1/24 mini car RC system, using two 280 motors for the straight drive format. I also decided to use the 6 1.2 volt NI-MH 2300Mah AA batteries as the source of drive power, also considering the CG weight of the ship.
The first of the sailing was in one of the beautiful park of Hong Kong. The result was wonderful in this first sailing. There was no need to change or adjust the installation of the whole system. The ship can perform very well no matter in slow speed or in fast action. This valuable experience can give me a lot of confident to start another RC plastic scale model project in the near future.
