1/700 Bditelny (Kombrig)
The build of this fine litte ship went straight forward. Even the poor quality assembly plan in the typical Kombrig manner was OK, since the whole kit only contains 23 pieces incl. the hull.
I polished the modell up with some spare PE's out of the odd-box.
The mast was made of steel rod and the flag has been made out of paper (thanks to Jim B. for showing me how to do that).
The water was made with Vallejo Water-Effect Gel, transparent. This was applied to a small picture frame. The small board which was part of the frame was coloured first. This makes the water look "deep" and I'm very pleased with the result.
I rigged the modell with stretched sprue and added a few crew members from the Eduard PE-Set. .
