Clemenceau and Dusquene

1/400 Clemenceau and Dusquene (Heller)

UNDERWAY REPLENISHMENT
During flight ops the carrier is transferring fuel to the thirsty hunter.

Both models were constructed straight from the box. Only addition was 1/400 photo etched railing from the Tauro Company. Front elevator lowered. Both elevators give access to hangar. Aircraft have additional scratch add on like rockets-bombs-ladders-torpedo’s-flaps-folded wings.

The Clemenceau was in service from 11-61 until 10-97. The Dusquene , commissioned 04-70 is, to my information, still active Interesting to mention is that the carrier has encountered many problems on its last voyage (2006) to India. Due to asbestos, the Suez Canal was closed for transit. In January the Clemenceau was prohibited to literally ran ashore in the place Alan. This was caused by the Indian authorities who are demanding a French technical team, to report in detail on the asbestos problem. The sistership Foch was sold to Brasilia and is sailing the South Atlantic under the name “SAO PAULO”

Still desperately searching for 1/400 tractors and mobile crane!!
