1/700 Aircraft Collection, Part 22; XCH-62 (Various)
XCH-62 was a Boeing project for the Army’s heavy lift helicopter (HLH) requirement in the 1970s. One test airframe was completed before the program was cancelled in the late 70s. I saw the airframe at the Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker - It was an impressive aircraft that unfortunately never took flight. A 1/700 scale CH-47 is shown for a size comparison.
