1/700 Aircraft Collection, part 9 (PitRoad and Kitbashes)

Collection of aircraft in the Sukhoi Su-27 family. All are modeled from the PitRoad plastic Su-27 single seat fighter from their Russian Air Force kit. From left to right (clockwise) in the circle are:

  1. Su-32 (Su-27IB) dual side-by-side seating long range bomber in Russian AF colors modified with the distinct palatypus-like scratched nose section, landing gear and tail boom. The long tail boom houses a rear-facing radar.
  2. Su-27KUB dual side-by-side seating long range tactical bomber. Introduced as a carrier trainer. Model has a scratched nose section and tail boom and scratched landing gear.
  3. Su-27 single seat fighter in Russian Air Force colors with scratchbuilt landing gear.
  4. Su-30MKK two-seater fighter in Ukrainian Air Force colors with modified scratched cockpit and custom decals.

I wish I had known Trumpeter was releasing a 1/700 scale Su-27KUB - I wouldn’t have gone to the trouble of shaping the enlarged nose section from scratch
