Soviet Navy collection by Christoph Mentzel

Aircraft carrier Kusnetzow from Revell. I used two kits to make a some more correct kit. My Kusnetzow is a real 1/700, I have cut the hull/flight deck on two points. Forward at the beginning of the skyjump and after the island before the elevator. Here i have put two pieces of styrene and the second hull/flight deck .So the hull have the correct size for 1/700. Many other modifications on the hull and bridge a done. Photo Etch parts are from Gold Medal Models. Planes from Skywave.
 
The two Ropucha (1/2) LSD are from HP models built straight from the box with PE parts from GMM.
 
The Slava class is from Kombrig, built straight from the box, PE parts are included. A nice kit much better than prior efforts of Kombrig. The HP Slava is as good and in some points better detailed. Minor point is the lack of etching parts for the same price.
 
The Kara class is also from Kombrig.
