1/350 River Patrol - Vietnam (L'Arsenal)

This vignette was inspired by Tony Bunch's (L'Arsenal USA) desire to have a table top display for his Vendor Table at the 2011 IPMS National Convention in Omaha, Nebraska.
This wonderful set of 4 boats with resin and photo-etched pieces has the potential for so, many diorama ideas besides this one. The figures are also from L'Arsenal.
This diorama took me about three days, off and on, from start to finish. The PBRs are painted with Model Master Acrylic "Green Drab" with a black wash and a dusting of black pastel chalk. The river is Model Master Acrylic "Wood" with high lights of "Armor Sand" and "Flat White". The water is Plastruct "agitated water" plastic sheet with Liquitex wakes. The base is a small IMEX plexiglass display case.
This was a fun build and fun to photograph.
