The Bou El Hogdad was a river ship built in 1950 and introduced in Senegal as a mixed cargo ship. In the 80's she was transformed into a cruise ship. The diorama is all scratchbuilt and based on the Saint Louis du Senegal in the north of the country. The buildings are old (except the garage) classified by UNESCO. Special photo etch was made by L'Arsenal and decals by my friend Sebastien Lausdat.
