1/700 USS Coronado LPD-11 (JAG)
My Brother in Law served on the Coronado in the 70's. This dock side diorama will be his Christmas present this year. He invited my wife (his sister) and I to visit him in Norfolk one time and we had the pleasure of eating dinner and a movie on board. I still don't understand "A Clockwork Orange", strange movie. Anyway, As I recall, there were 3 Skipjack class subs tied up close to the Coronado and that is what I have tried to represent. I usually work in 1/350 scale but this kit was unavailable in that scale and as soon as my eyesight returns, I'll continue work on my 1/350 CV-6 Enterprise.
