1/350 US Naval Base at Subic Bay (Tamiya)
This diorama shows the USS New Jersey (Tamiya 1/350) docked at Alava Pier during her visits at the US Naval Base at Subic Bay Philippines. USS Ticonderoga (1/350 unfinished) isn't historically correct but I'm building a USS Bunker Hill (DML) to replace it because she was visiting Subic too. The ships are removable and their hulls are intact. The port details aren't there yet because I couldn't find time to do so. Hopefully I can follow up when its finished. The dock is made of plaster and I've put toothpicks as pier posts. The base is just a styrofoam board! This is my own tribute to the former US Naval Base at Subic Bay.
