1/700 US Dockyard Diorama (Various)
You don't see to many models of the US Navy at British model shows so i decided to throw together as many as i could into one setting and used the WEM Dockyard matey items i had in my big black hole known as the loft as a basis for the build. The cleveland class cruiser is from the Skywave range very well engineered, quick and easy to build if a little on the expensive side. The other cruiser is an Oakland by Revell and requires some work as the fit of the fw'd superstructure is terrible. The two subs are i think Tamiya? good fit but needed a bit of redesigned p/etch from my spares box. As to the tugs??? came in a plastic bag.
