1/700 Battle of Trafalgar (Various)

This diorama was made in the year 2005, the bicentenary of the Trafalgar battle. It won the model ship competition at the Club de Modelismo Estático in Alcalá de Guadaira in the outskirts of Seville (Andalucía . Spain). It was regarded as the best historical reconstruction. The ships (English, French and Spanish) are made from metal and photoetched parts from Meridian "Trafalgar" 1/700 scale ships from Skytrex Ltd. Models for Memories. The crews come from Tom's Modelworks. The acrylic paints are from Acrílicos Vallejo (Miniature &Model Colors). The sea surface wasmade with Water Effects (C1212) from Woodland Scenics.
