1/700 IJN Shoho and Yubaru (Hasegawa/Tamiya)
May 7th 1942, Coral Sea, south of the Solomon Islands.
The Shoho is the 1/700 Hasegawa kit, with some added white metal Claudes mixed in with the kit Zeros and Kates. The Yubaru, is the 1/700 Tamiya kit. The base is painted with oils, and the models airbrushed with a mix of Polly Scale and Tamiya paints.
