1/1200 Battle of Mobile Bay (Navwar)
Here is my diorama of the American Civil War Battle of Mobile Bay and includes Navwar minatures of the USS Winnebago, USS Chickasaw, USS Kennebec, USS Itasca, USS Richmond, USS Hartford, USS Brooklyn, USS Monongahela, USS Oneida, USS Manhattan, USS Tecumseh, USS Metacomet, USS Octorora, USS Port Royal, USS Galena, USS Ossipee, USS Lackawanna, USS Seminole, CSS Tennesee, CSS Selma, CSS Morgan and CSS Gaines. Some of the ships had to be converted to look like different ships of a class and I found that rigging 1/1200 ships is supprizingly easy. Base is from a Pin Board and the sea is painted with royal blue and a light spray dusting of silver and grey.
The Minatures I started with from Navwar were AU04 USS Chickasaw X2, AU05 USS Chippewa X2, AU07 USS Hartford X3, AU09 USS Kearsarge X2, AU15 USS Tippecanoe X2, AU19 USS Metacomet X3, AU30 USS Galena X1, AU33 USS Merrimack X3, AC60 CSS Gaines X2, AC69 CSS Selma X1, AC70 CSS Tennesee X1
