A few weeks ago I found a Navwar 1/300 white metal model accessories in my spares crate, including a 1/300 MAS-526 series boat, which in reality is about 1/320. I decided to build it as a microproject. It has been completely handpainted, in a typical MAS-boat 1943 camoflage. The boat took alot of work to bring it into form. I also augmented it with Lion Roar PE rails, as well as adding a LionRoar 25mm japanese AA gun modified to look like an italian 20mm L70 gun. Afterwards I have built a tiny 11x11 cm scenery for the display, scratchbuilding the train (A quite generic 0-6-0 oil-firing tenderless shunter loco, and 2 railcars) and using the L'Arsenal figures and Navwar railway tracks and a Fiat 508 car. Everything was painted using Modelmaster, Vallejo, Gunze, Tamiya, Lifecolor and Revell colors. Water is "NOCH Wassereffekte" model railroading stuff.
