1/700 USS Hornet CV-8 (Tamiya)
images depicting different aspects of the Doolittle Raid of April 1942. The ship images have been photoshopped into seascapes to depict the ship at sea. The images are numbered for sequence and begin with USS Hornet on the East Coast and progress from there to Alameda NAS and from there to the raid on Tokyo. The ships used in the dioramas include Tamiya's 1/700 Hornet and Enterprise. All other ships are scratch-built.
