1/700 French Aquitaine FREMM class Frigates (Gwylan Models)
It appears that my favorite patron has “Aquitaine on the brain” as he sends over not one but 4 French Aquitaine Class FREMM Frigates. Why did you send four you ask? I don’t know, I stopped asking questions like that (keeps me up at night). The kits themselves are unremarkable. Molding is good, but all of the smaller parts had a significant amount of over pour which required substantial sanding. The hull appears to have been 3D printed in one big block, but has the signature “printed” look when looked at closely. Each kit comes with its own PE fret and enough decals to make any of the ships of the class. Not a bad kit if you need one (or more) from the class.
