This is the BRP Rajah Humabon, as of 2010, the only remaining frigate of the Philippine Navy. It is also one of the oldest still active WWII warships. After having a career in various other navies, the Humabon has undergone various upgrades and is currently serving as the flagship of the Philippine Navy. The ship here is depicted in its 2010 configuration, sailing together with the BRP Apolinario Mabini during the Balikatan 2010, an annual USN-PN naval exercise.
A few modifications to the original Pitroad kit included remodelling the bridge, aft deck, midships, as well as various other smaller details. The plastic mast was replaced by a scratchbuilt brass mast. Water and water spray are modeled using 3D model paste.
