1/600 Coastal Freighter (scratchbuilt)
When my brother and I first started building models in the ‘60’s we had bought a book called TEACH YOURSELF MODELCRAFT. One of the sections dealt with marine modelling and it included scale drawings to 1:600 of a typical Motor Cruiser of the times.
I had tried to scratchbuild it off the plans at the time, but the results were very poor. I came across the book again recently and I thought I would have another go. This is the result.
