1/144 Bundesmarine Medley (Revell Germany)
This is a medley of three kits that I made several years ago. It consists of the Bundesmarine (modern German navy) Types 143 (Falke), 143A (Gepard) Fast Attack Craft and the Type 206 submarine. All are in 1/144 scale. All three craft were designed to combat Warsaw Pact navies in the Baltic sea. Although the 143A and 206 still serve in the Bundesmarine, the 143 has since been sold off to other countries, mainly Tunisia. For those you not familiar with the different types, the 143 is the one with the two mounted cannon. It's interesting to note how tiny the Type 206 sub is, even in comparison to the modestly-sized attack boats. It obviously can negotiate some very shallow waters, which one assumes is the key to its survival in combat.
