These are pictures of my Uncle Doug's Ships that he has made for over fourty years. He has added onto his house a two thousand square foot room that looks out over his property, atop a hundred foot hill, spectacular.
It has been his lifes hobby and the photos are only a sample of the dozens of ships he has completed.
The pictures do not do them justice. Seeing that he does not have email nor a computer, I am doing 'us' the service of showing these to all who can appreciate such fine work.
There are so many scratchbuilt parts and custom jigs and fixtures used, as well as 50% of the kits are thrown out at purchase and he then uses higher quality hand made products in their completion.
