1/500 Ship Collection Part 2 (Revell/Scratchbuilt)
USS Oakland CL-95, USS Tennessee BB-43, and a Casablanca class CVE. All in 1/500. Oakland and the CVE are scratch more or less with plastic weapons and PE from GMM. The cruiser was the most difficult hull to form. The shear gave me a lot of trouble. Both were made from Squadron Signal pics. Tennessee has a wooden hull and lots of modified Revell Missouri control tower parts, Arizona 14" and Missouri 5/38's and as much PE as my 62 year old eyes will allow. My biggest problem is the lack of aircraft in this scale, as evidenced by the SBD sitting on a float on the stern of the battleship.
