1/350 US Navy Ships (Tamiya/DML)
This is my pool fleet of US Navy ships. Currently 2 ships are in commission and floating well. USS Mobile Bay (DML) is under repair (check picture) after I overmelted the deck in the middle as Im trying to cut down on top weight for the ship not to topple over using a soldering iron with a nice tip. The melted deck and wall is now good as new but I still had to find the densest metal for heaviest and lowest ballast. The New Jersey is scheduled for some repairs too. This ship was done earliest and it needs some refurbishments. I had to reopen the hull twice cause my plaster ballast unexpectedly went lighter through the months. I also included in my photos; my latest destroyer, USS Spruance Class DDG outfitting where I actually build my cruisers and destroyers. Also USS Enterprise is under construction and is currently about 40% done. Under contract is DD985, DDG51, DDG90, and DDG92 which means I have the boxes stacked up here. Im still thinking whether I should put the PEs cause they're not just static models.
