1/250 Königin Luise (GK Modelle)

At the outbreak of WWII the Kriegsmarine was short of sips, guns and everything. To fill the gap the Kriegsmarine recruited several civilian ships. So they did to the Königin Luise. She was designed as a liner to bring people on holiday from Hamburg to Helgoland. She was converted to a mineship an sunk hit by a Russian mine in 1941 close to Helsinki. This is a very accurate cardmodel kit. You may find the construction report at http://www.kartonist.de/wbb2/thread.php?threadid=7263
