1/72 HMCS Fennel (Matchbox)
This was built from the keel up using only the hull from the kit. Great Little Ships (GLS) brass accessories were used for most of the superstructure, though this was augmented with lots of scratchbuilt parts. The hull had the oversize keel removed and the plating sanded down to reasonable thickness. The model was painted with Mr. Color and Tamiya and weathered with oil paints.
