1/700 HMS Abercrombie (Combrig)
HMS Abercrombie was one of the 2 british Monitors which took part in the second world war she and her sister ship HMS Roberts both saw service in the later half of the war Abercrombie had a tendency to hit mines during her service. Battle honors are Salerno and Sicily in 1943.
The model is in 1/700 and is produced by Combrig of Russia overall the kit is flawless if you exclude the main barbette and spotting top she was dressed with WEM and GMM PE and detailed by scratch building and was overall a pleasant build in about 3 weeks I used the Profil Morske Book for plans and details this is a good guide except the plans show teak deck which should be steel decks either wise a good model . The only thing it is missing is the crew and this is also my first resin kit my first resin kit.
