1/500 Black Swan Royal Navy sloop (Scratchbuild)
Another attempt at a Black Swan Royal Navy sloop. I have been a fan of these ships since I watched HMS Amethyst get shelled in the movie. Called a modified Black Swan, mine is a modified modified Black Swan an I am sorry for the lapses in accuracy. All I could come up with were a couple of photos off of the web.
The hull is cedar. The bridge is wood, plastic and PE. Kit parts supply the main battery and fire control. AA is from Hasagawa. The a/s weapons are made from pe and glass beads Only the least bit of rigging as I am trying to learn how to stretch sprue. I am not a fast learner it seems.
