This 1/1200 scale model of the British Royal Yacht "Britannia" is actually a Triang/Minic metal diecast, dating from the 1950s/1960s period. Bought, in heavily worn condition, at a collector's fair for a few pounds, I scratchbuilt new masts + ensign staffs from fine brass wire, and completely repainted the ship. The bridge windows are hand-painted - they aren't as neat and precise as I'd like but I'm not really used to working in a scale this small! Other than the masts, all of the detail is from the original Triang moulds; considering its age and that it was made essentially as a toy, it's not a bad model.
To give an idea of its size, the 5p coin in the first photo is about the size of a US dime.
