1/700 USS Eastwind (Loose Cannon resin kit)
The water was made with clear gel (available from any good art store). Use a large brush to cover the base. It looks opaque and whitish (like white glue) while wet. But it will dry crystal clear. The ice was made of two components; a clear plastic peice underneath with a white peice of Evergreen styrene glued on top. To simulate the surface of the ice, use a dremel tool to bounce along teh top.
