1/700 IJN Target Ship Hakachi (Five Star Model)
This is my latest model, the Target Ship Hakachi. It was a special build vessel for bomber crews to use as target. The deck and the bridge was armoured to give the crew protection during bomber praxis. It was later converted as an escort vessel. This what my model depicts. The model comes from Five Star Model. I just changed the mast wth adding the radar antenna. And I added the 25 mm single and double guns. As companion on my water base I build a 100 t tug boat from Tamiya which was refined with Five Star Model PE and a 150 t Minelayer also from Five Star Model.
