Painting the ship with Gunze Sangyo lacquers and Tamiya enamels, I replaced the kit’s SH-60 Seahawk with the Veteran Models’ Seahawk to add more reality to the model.
The kit has a good fit though the detail is not as good as the same model from Bronco Model.
Simulating a number of panels visible on the hull is the key point of my work.
I used a shading technique to simulate the bumpy-looking panels on the hull.
The signal and national flags were made with Photo Shop, and then they were printed out and attached to the structures.
