1/350 HMCS Cordova (Iron Shipwright)
My 1/350 HMCS Cordova using the Iron Shipwright YMS kit.
I scratchbuilt the wheel house and deck as they were poorly cast. I slightly modified the kit to represent the Cordova from several photos( Thanks Paul). I used a mix of GMM, WEM and kit photoetch for details and L'Arsenal 20mm's as well as a scratchbuilt 40mm.
The Cordova was purchased from the US Navy (ex USS YMS 420) in 1951 and was in service until 1957.
She was a fun little kit to build.
