1/700 USN YMS Yard Minesweeper (Samek)
I had tons of time for my hobby one day... and after 12 hours of intensive building the little modell was complete !!
The kit is from Czech Company Samek, made of resin and contains a small fret with PE's which covers all details except for the two life-saving rings, which I also added to the Model.
Everything fit together very well, which made the build straight forward.
I added some steel rod to the main mast, which was also included in the PE-set to give it a little more strength and built the rear one completly out of steel.
The rigging was made from streched sprue.
All pieces were painted with an airbrush before assembling with Tamiya, Vallejo and Gunze paints. The crew is from Eduards, my favorite for "crew members" in this scale.
The water has been made with Vallejo Water-Effect Gel, Atlantic blue, which was slighly painted in certain spaces with white paint after it had dried.
