1/700 HMVS Cerberus (Combrig)
Combrig 1/700 HMVS Cerberus. I built the ship per 1866/1867. The kit was straight out of the box except where I substituted plastic rod for the kit masts, and rigged the ship with paint brush bristles. I would have to say this was the most fun I had building a ship. It is hard to believe the model is less than 4 inches long, with all the detail in the kit.
The water on the base was made from painted aluminum foil coated with future floor wax.
