I built this a number of years ago, and it's the older version of the kit, with the vac-form hull. It has a wood deck and small parts in both white metal and plastic. I understand they now offer a version with a resin hull that can also be built as an alternate version, the CSS Atlanta. The flags, shrouds, and ratlines were done by hand. This is a very interesting ship that really shows the transition from sail to steam. The hull shape almosts suggests a WWI four stack destroyer. Thanks to my wife, Geane, for helping me with the photography and for putting up with my hobby! __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster. Easier.
